Windows desktop VR

This is the classic Desktop VR app that you need to connect your headset to the PC using a cable (or wifi in some cases). You will interact with the app using the VR headset and your controllers.

Select the XR Devices setup from the MAGES Panel.

  1. From Unity’s top bar menu, navigate to File > Build Settings.

  2. Make sure that your scene is present in the list of scenes in Build Settings. If not, simply add it by clicking the Add Open Scenes button.

  3. Select Windows as the Target Platform.

  4. Click the Build button and specify the directory where you would like the executable file to be created.

  5. Once the building procedure is finished, navigate to the directory you specified in step 3 and double click on the executable to start the application.
